About the project
What we are doing
Farmers learn to make bio-fertilisers and use ecological methods that protect soil and cope with a changing climate.
Training in bio-fertiliser production and ecological farming took place in Ariwa and Bijo, Yumbe, under the Kulika and Strømme Foundation partnership. A further 278 farmers (191 women, 87 men) were trained in Namayumba Town Council, Wakiso, and 50 farmers (34 women, 16 men) in Kasese, with more than 328 farmers sensitised on climate-smart methods including organic liquid fertilisers.
