What we collect
When you donate: your name, email, phone, country and city, and the gift amount. Payments are handled by PayPal or Flutterwave; we never see or store card details. When you contact us, book a visit or apply for a job: the details you enter in the form. When you subscribe to our newsletter: your first name and email. When you order from the Kulika Shop by WhatsApp or phone: the details you share in that conversation.
How we use it
To process and thank you for gifts, send receipts, reply to messages and bookings, send the newsletter you asked for, and meet our legal and audit duties. We never sell or rent your data.
Who we share it with
Only with services that help us run this website and process payments (our web host, PayPal, Flutterwave and, if used, our email newsletter service), and with auditors or authorities when the law requires it.
Cookies and analytics
We do not use advertising or analytics cookies. Logged-in WordPress users receive cookies needed to sign in.
How long we keep it
Donation records are kept as long as accounting law requires. Newsletter details are kept until you unsubscribe. Other messages are kept only as long as needed to deal with them.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or to stop receiving emails, at any time by writing to uganda@kulika.org. This policy follows the Uganda Data Protection and Privacy Act, 2019.
