About the project
What we are doing
Farmer groups learn the East African Organic Standards and check each other’s farms, so their produce can be sold as trusted organic.
With PELUM Uganda, Kulika strengthened 10 Participatory Guarantee System groups with 249 members (153 men, 96 women). Members were trained on the East African Organic Standards and took part in peer review visits to assess compliance and improve the quality of local organic products.
