Kulika Uganda received funding from International Labor Organization (ILO) to implement a Youth innovation, Empowerment &Livelihood Development (YIELD) project In Lira and Oyam Districts. The intervention equipped urban youth in Lira and Oyam with knowledge and skills for value addition and micro enterprise establishment and to build their capacity for enterprise set up and management. It increased self-reliance of the youth through agro-marketing initiatives and entrepreneurship training as an emerging source of employment for the youth. The total number of youth trained and participated in project activities were 400.
