100 female youth, categorized into five model groups of 20 members each were trained in how to utilize farm waste into environmentally friendly fuel and manure for feeding the soil and for making briquettes & bio-char. They were also trained in making hand presses. They were provided with start-up kits. 10 bulking shades were established to provide working space for bulking and to improve storage. The Project was implemented in Mubende District in partnership with Youth Leadership for Agriculture Activity.
