This is a multi-year project which started in 2007and is implemented in Mubende District. Over the years, farmer groups have received small interest-free loans for renting land and enhancement of farming activities. The project provides greater stability for families. It also has a huge impact on how the participating households manage poverty cycles within the community. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, the team from Abingdon could not travel for evaluation. 5 new groups were assessed and received their loans. The project is funded by Rotary Club of Abingdon Vesper, Oxford.
