Supporting Communities for long term

As a focused skills development organization, Kulika Uganda aims to contribute to agile sustainable perspectives in agriculture, education and develop competencies to further strengthen the capacity of farmers and learners to engage in community development. Much as the work of the organization is vast in outreach, there is need to assess the progress of the beneficiaries.

Rationale

Kulika Uganda objective of tracer studies is given as:

  1. to locate the past beneficiaries of Kulika programs;
  2. assess progress made by the beneficiaries
  • assess areas target areas when making funding applications for the realization of the organization
  1. to enable management attribute success to the ongoing activities and link it to the organizational mission and vision.

In order to achieve the above, Kulika Uganda conducts tracer studies. This enables the assessment on an ongoing basis of the changes that the projects will bring about at two levels:

  1. The first level is the strengthened capacity of KULIKA as an organization to track progress in the projects.
  2. The second level is the changes that are expected to result from the strengthened capacity of KULIKA. These include the improved living standards of the people we work for and ultimate implementation and achievement of the organizations policies and goals.
