The Open University

As part of our commitment to developing skills in Uganda ’s voluntary sector, Kulika is working with the UK-based Open University, bringing the opportunity to study at postgraduate level to Ugandan development professionals.

Up to forty students at a time study over three years for the University’s MSc in Development Management, a programme of supported distance learning. Students are able to study without leaving their jobs, and their organisations benefit from the implementation of new skills and knowledge.

The programme is open to Ugandans working in the voluntary sector in Uganda and requires a continuous commitment of twelve to fourteen hours a week for study. Day Schools, facilitated by Open University staff, are held in Kampala every six months.

Students are selected in June or July of each year for entry into the programme the following November. For further information, click here to contact us.
